The Sun Enters Virgo ♍︎ Grounding What Leo Revealed

⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧ ───── ✧₊⁺⋆☽⋆⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧ ───── ✧₊⁺⋆☽⋆⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧ ───── ✧₊⁺⋆☽⋆⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧

The Sun has officially entered 0° Virgo, and after the heat of Leo season, I am looking forward to some grounding energy.

I don’t know about you guys, but this Leo season for me was bright, loud and reactive.

The Sun conjoined Jupiter.
It conjoined Mercury.
It opposed Pluto. And went through a Solar Eclipse.

So what does that mean?

All this Leo energy lit up the heart space. The place where we find our creativity, our courage, our self-expression, pride, and our desire to be seen. Leo is associated with the Solar Plexus chakra.

Maybe you felt more generous this season, or more expressive. More willing to let yourself be seen authentically.

Or maybe Leo season illuminated the shadow side of that same energy.

Where do I need validation?
Where do I need to feel appreciated or acknowledged?
Where does my ego become protective when I don’t feel seen?

Maybe we encountered the hotheaded parts of ourselves. The dramatic parts. The wounded inner child.

Or maybe we were able to reconnect with parts of our divine inner child and feel playful, creative, and joyful.

With Saturn retrograde in Aries forming a trine to Leo, there may have also been a deeper lesson unfolding underneath all of that fire. Saturn tends to love a lesson around maturity and responsibility. Bringing Leo’s themes of courage and identity into the conversation, we may find ourselves asking–>Who am I becoming, and what am I actually trying to build from that place?

Maybe there has been confusion.

Maybe there has simply been a deep desire to understand ourselves differently.

Either way, the energy has been hot, fast, expressive, and revealing.

And now the Sun has crossed into Virgo.

So now our question may begin to change. Leo asked–>Who am I when I allow myself to shine?

Virgo begins asking–>What do I do with everything I just learned about myself?

Virgo wants integration. Discernment. Grounding. Ruled by Mercury, there is a lot of room for intellectual energies. It wants us to take all of the information we learned through our realizations, our emotions, our ego confrontations, creative sparks and heart-centered lessons of Leo season and begin sorting through them. Virgo loves a good list.

–>What needs healing?

–>What needs refinement?

–>What actually belongs in the life I am creating?

At nearly the same time, the Moon is moving through Capricorn, bringing in even more Earth energy after a period that has felt heavily dominated by fire and movement.

There is a shift from simply feeling and reacting toward Capricorn Moon asking–>What am I actually going to do about what I now know?

And with Mars in Cancer and Venus in Libra creating relational tension, relationships may still be showing us where something is out of balance.

Mars in Cancer brings up home, family, emotional patterns, ancestry, belonging, and where we came from.

Venus traveling through Libra brings up relationship, reciprocity, fairness, harmony, and the ways we meet another person.

The tension by the square between the two may reveal places where keeping the peace with others has required us to abandon something within ourselves. Maybe you begin the part of Self that people pleases.

And some of those realizations may feel uncomfortable. They may even feel selfish at first-Hello Saturn in Aries.

But sometimes returning to right relationship with another person begins with returning to right relationship with ourselves.

That means having compassion for where we came from. Compassion for our emotional bodies. Compassion for our wounds. And enough discernment to recognize which patterns we are ready to stop carrying forward.

Leo showed us the heart. Virgo asks us to tend to it.
